Robson's Arizona Mining World takes you back in time to the Nella-Meda gold mining camp, a real mine said to still contain much gold. Set in the Sonoran Desert's saguaro covered hills, it features the world's largest collection of antique mining equipment. Over 30 artifact-filled buildings include the mineral museum, assay office, trading post, general store, blacksmith, barber shop, lodge, print shop and more! Watch how the equipment was used like the old stamp mill, steam generating plant and a working '40s mill.

Garcia School

This red brick schoolhouse, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was built in 1905, replacing the wooden school on this land. "Little remains of the old one-room schoolhouses built of logs, adobe, frame, or brick which proliferated across Arizona in the late 1800s.

Old Post Office

The Old Brick Post Office was built in 1930 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Before the time of the boardwalks, a single window served the people arriving on horseback to get their mail. This may have been the forerunner of the "drive - up window!"

Historical Walking Tour

The Chamber of Commerce has developed a self-guided brochure of historic town buildings with a map of their locations. Numbered copper plates on the outside of buildings correspond to numbers in the brochure with ten buildings awarded listings on the National Historic Register.
